Once Spring approaches, I always start to get excited for Mutton & Mead faire. It's one of my favorite events that I work. I look forward to spending a couple beautiful summer days interacting with new and loyal returning customers alongside the other fine folk that vend at Mutton & Mead. It's going to be my 4th year in a row as a vendor, and I'm just thrilled to be a part of it. Here's the low down:
Saturday June 24th and Sunday 25th, 10am to 6pm
Mutton & Mead collaborates to help a number of local charities and organizations such as the Montague Common Hall, and the Foodbank of Western Mass. Bring non-perishable food to the gate and get festival tokens!
"Many characters from the distance past will help transport you to another time. A varied assortment of entertainers, craftspeople, and other vendors from across New England. There will also be jousting, eagles and falcons, knife throwing, archery demonstrations and contests, various food vendors selling contemporary and period-authentic foods, as well as artisan crafts and medieval merchandise."
check out their website for more info, you may have to check back periodically for the 2017 schedule and vendor list.
